Satis
Satis integrates Nio’s most advanced products into a single solution that brings new capabilities to the corporate tagline of ‘Watchful Intelligence’. Using Satis, a complete range of smart video cameras and image enhancement peripherals are integrated with enhanced software and support for a wide range of security applications. Further details on Satis and other new products/alliances will be announced at the ISC West security tradeshow in Las Vegas on March 24, 2010.
A key focus for Nio in 2010 will be towards developing strategic partnerships that complement the company’s existing product line. As one example of this type of agreement, in 2008 Nio formed a major strategic alliance with Lenco Software AS (Oslo, Norway).
Lenco is a respected developer of military GIS and 3D visualization software with additional NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) detection products.
The agreement gives Nio access to one of the most advanced 3D visualization and navigation software solutions available for maps and satellite images. Also covered in the agreement is Lenco’s sophisticated alarm- and event management system that has already been adopted by several NATO countries as part of their national defence solution. Lenco software will become the foundation of Nio’s new civilian control room solutions that fully leverage the company’s auto-tracking EyeMax video cameras.
